Apriltsi's cuisine consists of plenty of fresh vegetables, eaten raw, roasted or stewed with meat in terracotta pots, lots of garlic, onions, oil and spices.

shopska salad - а classical dish from the Bulgarian cuisine: salad, made from tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and grated cows cheese
ovcharska salad- mixed salad with ham, olives, mushrooms and grated cows cheese
snezhanka - salad, made from cucumbers and thick yoghurt, topped with walnuts
lukanka - a sort of salami, which is cut into thin slices, when served
kebapche - meat roll, made on grill
kyufte - meat-ball from mince, grilled
mixed grill - this portion is comprised of different kinds of grilled meat
kachamak - corn porridge with an egg and cheese topping, which is baked and served in guyveche (clay pot)
kavarma - prepared in gyuveche from mutton or pork with vegetables and potato mash
mussaka - a dish, made from aubergines, tomatoes and minced meat with a topping, baked in the oven
gyuvech - a dish from vegetables, meat and potatoes, cooked in a pot find it on the menu, you should definitely try it!
baklava - a very sweet, dipped in syrup cake made from several layers of dough with walnut filling bonitio- it is made from several layers of dough with a filling of cows cheese and eggs
